205897 2004-01-07 20:19:00 Anyone watch the Awful Truth (replaces the late News on One around 10:30pm)... anyway, he decided he would buy Bill Gates some house warming presents for his new $US60 Million home. He then tried to deliver them. Of course the security people wouldn't have a bar of it (at the new house). He even went to Microsoft headquarters in Seattle but didn't get past reception (I've seen the reception desk at MS now!!!). It was most amusing :D

What do you buy the richest man in the world for a house warming present!

205899 2004-01-07 22:54:00 That's silly. Why not give him a characteristic Apple Lampshade®. Or an Xbox running Linux. agent (30)
205900 2004-01-07 23:27:00 ... or some pirated copies of Windows XP that can be used as drink coasters. Im sure he'd love that. ]:) parry (27)
205901 2004-01-08 01:58:00 Hmmmm maybe Bill Gates did deserve that big home, i mean, it seems he works pretty hard... and he HAS donated virtually half his net worth to charity...

205902 2004-01-08 02:57:00 This series and series 2 are out on DVD (assuming you have a DVD player) along with Bowling for Columbine. A good way of seeing the other side of the US.

205903 2004-01-08 03:31:00 Why do people constantly get sucked in by Michael Moore? A good way of seeing the other side of America, I think not. It’s a good way of seeing how Michael Moore puts spin into his pet projects. Bowling for Columbine was full off inaccuracies and blatant lies. Ferris (1087)
205904 2004-01-08 04:24:00 ...and Crackers the Chicken didn't save the hens either.

Even if MM does put a particular spin on things, don't politicians do it, even Microsoft does it (and they can afford the best spin doctors money can buy).

205905 2004-01-09 05:28:00 What lies and inaccuracies?

Everything in Michael Moores Books, TV Shows and Films are based on fact. If they weren't he would constantly be in court getting sued.

You should open your eyes Ferris and check your facts.
