| 206494 | 2004-01-10 06:39:00 | Hi there i installed win98se and lost the cd of modem drivers. my modem is Lt Win Modem and one more thing, what about pci ccommunication device do i need a driver for that too, i tryed win98 for that but it didnt find anything in there. could you please suggest me a good site. |

| 206497 | 2004-01-10 08:40:00 | A Lt Win Modem is a Lucent Technolgy WinModem, however that only describes the chipset used and not the actual device . You need to find the modem maker, and get the drivers from their site . Otherwise its a bit like going to a car spares shop and asking for an oil filter to fit a petrol car engine . Of course you may get lucky and find something that works by trial and error . The PCI comms device is the modem . Windows is just confused . |
