2004-01-09 08:47:00 | Hi all I had a Dynalink PCI adsl internal modem, dialup login was joebloggs@jetstart.dil. Now I have a Dynalink router/switch & trying to set it up - to get in my account, I typed joebloggs@jetstart.dil - but that didn't work - can anyone tell me what's the correct login? This is where I go into the browser & type 192.168.1.1 - which does get me in to setup. Using pcnet jetstart. Router link is a solid green light. Thanks all

2004-01-09 09:06:00 | Hi. I had a bit of trouble, and im not too sure, but this is what I did. telnet://192.168.10.1 Now, the username, password for your router should be in the manual if its still on the default setting. If you dont have to give username, for the password just try 12345

2004-01-09 09:21:00 | Did you not have a Dynalink ADSL Router 'Quick Setup Guide' come with your router? If you did it is explained quite well. First there is the router username and password to get into the 'Quick Start' page after entering 192.168.1.1 in your browser. These by default if nothing has been changed are admin for both. Then when you click on Connect you need to enter your ISP account user name and password, then click connect. You should then connect to your ISP

2004-01-09 09:42:00 | Yes, I got in there - but for user name - I tried various names: 'joebloggs@jetstart.dil' or 'joebloggs' by itself - but none of these worked. Unfortunately pcnet won't answer their phone, so I'm stuck. I need to know exactly what to type. Thanks for helping - need more help! | dana.c (2547) | |
2004-01-09 10:28:00 | When you said that you "got in there", I assume that you got pass the initial router login page into the configuration page? If not, you need to look at your router's manual. It should be something like username/password: admin or something like that. I have a pcnet jetstart connection as well, my login is in the format username@jet.pcnet.co.nz.

2004-01-10 07:12:00 | If you can get in to the router by entering 192.168.1.2 on your web brouser then go to WAN configuration bottom of the page PPP service jetstream user name should be xtrxxxxxx.xadsl@xtra.co.nz password ...... go to bottom of page and save follow all other instructions in the router quick start book.
