| 207180 | 2004-01-13 21:04:00 | I have a folder containing files which contain Chinese characters with a .doc extension. In Irfan when I use the File/Batch conversion/Start - it goes throuigh each file and says "Error! can't load" What am I doing wrong?? |

| 207181 | 2004-01-13 21:16:00 | I always thought IrfanView was strictly a graphics program. I never considered using the batch rename facility for *.doc files and maybe the software writer didn't either. Do the help files etc indicate that what you are trying to do is possible? cheers Billy 8-{) |

| 207182 | 2004-01-13 21:20:00 | .doc suggests a Word document file. Irfanview is a graphics program, and will not open a true .doc file Exactly what are these files, if they are indeed graphic files (and not graphics embedded in a Word file) what created them? |
