This message comes up when you click on a program like word, windows media player or even trying to open a folder containing videos: images.trademe.co.nz And this message comes up when I try to update microsoft security essentials: images.trademe.co.nz If anyone could please point me in the right direction, I'd much appreciate it because I'm stumped and have no idea where to even start! Computer is a less than 1 year old Asus laptop running windows 7 home premium 64bit, service pack 1, intel i7 with 4GB ram Any advice much appreciated in advance, thanks! |

Laptop came with Mcafee trial pre-installed, which I promptly uninstalled about 10months ago strangely enough, and haven't had any issues until now! |

So far the programs that wouldn't load before, do now without the error messages showing up. Speedy you mentioned some leftover McAfee files, how would I go about completely erasing these, please? |
