1332283 2013-03-11 23:11:00 Sweet, I get to wear my big boy pants and get to choose the next ISP for our new home in Te Awamutu.

The mrs chose the last one, the utterly hopeless and terrible Woosh....most pathetic ISP I have ever experienced.

Anyways, so far Im looking at Actrix (never heard of them but getting some good reviews), will never go to Telecom or Slingshot, anyone else got any input? Im just browsing the net looking at the moment.

1332284 2013-03-11 23:41:00 Actrix pretty much come out on top for service and overall, they're just not the cheapest.

Hell I rang them asking about connecting up VDSL2 for a friend, wanted a prequal check, they were real good! Nice kiwi bloke answers the phone.... Can't fault them, they're great!

I'm personally with 2talk. Their service is relatively non-existent coz they don't do a call-center. They do everything via email / online support tickets. However, their connection / pricing is fantastic! I'm on 300GB VDSL2 for just over a hundred bucks and they're *awesome*! Just make sure you have a reliable router / home wiring, and you shouldn't have to ever call them ;)

Personally though, if you're just going with ADSL2+, look at somebody like Actrix.

1332285 2013-03-12 00:21:00 They look pretty good, have a good wrap. Im nowhere on the net as much as I used to be and looking at the phone bundle, the pricing isn't as bad as i thought it was going to be. rob_on_guitar (4196)

1332288 2013-03-12 01:12:00 Whoever you choose get the request in as early as you can. The biggest annoyance with most ISPs is waiting a week or more with no internet because it can take a while too happen. dugimodo (138)
