| 1331234 | 2013-03-06 20:53:00 | Oh Trev Oh Trev. Some shares may be as you say, but the secret lies in your research and the performance of the company you invest in. We have been shareholders in about 25 companies for many years and our returns have been somewhere around 9% per annum. It is important to track your investments regularly and to be right up to date with what is happening in each company. We have some Bonus Bonds as well, but $40 return in 20 years is no evidence of a good investment. You decry shareholding as gambling, then recommend Bonus Bonds???? C'mon. I can't believe you really say that 'under your mattress' is investing. All it gains there is bed bugs. | Richard (739) | ||
