1331751 2013-03-08 02:24:00 The problem appears to be with IE10 - it doesn't play nicely with attachments on other sites running vBulletin either (or microsoft's own site, as in the example below). I don't think our IT team can fix it, in other words, bevy121 and Trev. If there's a fix, I'm sure we'll implement it. The thread below suggests using compatibility mode to add attachments. If someone would like to test that?
See, eg: answers.microsoft.com mode = 4836 :D

:banana :clap

Guess that works for IE10. Actually it uploaded almost instantly, very fast.

Note:when you change to compatibility mode make sure you do it before posting, other wise the site drop kicks you out and you have to resign in again.

1331752 2013-03-08 02:37:00 What part of uploading attachments doesn't work in IE 10???? I just tested it / attached a pic / but didn't post it. It uploaded OK in IE 10 (in Win7). Or is it when you go to post it? Speedy Gonzales (78)
1331753 2013-03-08 03:01:00 When I select a file to upload from my computer I get the message that I mentioned in one of my previous posts.

1331754 2013-03-08 03:02:00 When you click on the Paperclip, open the basic uploader, select a file, the little activity symbol just goes round and round and times out

Heres something interesting: originally tried it on W8 +IE10, compatibility mode worked.

BUT On W7 + IE10 in compatibility mode on two different computers I got the following

1331758 2013-03-08 03:19:00 Pic added using IE10 / Win7. Didn't change anything its not in compat mode. Only thing it may be is protected mode?? I've disabled it in IE 10. I'll enable protected mode and see what it does Speedy Gonzales (78)
1331759 2013-03-08 03:25:00 This is with protected mode on. Hmm don't know what the prob is. I can attach pics. Whether protected mode is on or off. And I didn't use Comp mode Speedy Gonzales (78)
