| 1331224 | 2013-03-06 00:18:00 | Hmmm, my wife and I have separately received emails from "Mighty River Power Share Offer [donotreply@mightyrivershares.govt.nz]" this morning. Both thank us for pre-registering (we haven't) and giving us each a Unique Reference Number. They have both of our names correct, but have sent both emails to my email address (ie my wife's came to me, not to her email address). When viewing source in Outlook, the only odd address I can find is https://secure.reachinvestorsolutions.com. So, we have been thanked for pre-registering, and got our own number but we haven't done a thing. Is this a dagger (spam) which I see before me, the handle toward my hand?? |

When you pre-register the form lets you also pre-register other individuals as well. Somebody who has your email address has nominated you and your wife probably thinking they are being helpful. As it does not commit you to anything at all it should not be a problem. I thought it a little odd in this day and age as most of us, like you, are very suspicious of unsolicited emails and just delete them out of hand. Keep the number if you wish to purchase shares when the offer comes out otherwise just forget it. |

| 1331227 | 2013-03-06 02:42:00 | ..getting out of shares at the right time has something to do with the letter "W" For Wow! perhaps. I'm more likely to see the letter F |

| 1331228 | 2013-03-06 03:03:00 | For Wow! perhaps. I'm more likely to see the letter F Not quite, the W has two upward trends and I think it is the latter upward trend one decides to take the profit and get out. "Good luck you are going to need it" as Nigel Latta would say. Lurks. |

| 1331231 | 2013-03-06 09:39:00 | I'm going to buy as many shares as possible $20K or more because I figure the shares will pay more in dividend than the measly 4% I'm getting for term deposits from the bank right now. And on the cusp of retirement, I need income. I reckon there are a lot of people like me.............. |

Yep, and the last rise in the “M” is known as “The Dead Cat Bounce” that often happens just before your shares disappear into oblivion. :) I just thought you’d like to know that. :D |

If you like gambling then go for it but if not and have cash burning a whole in your pocket you can't go far wrong than investing in your bank or putting it into bonus bonds. Probably the best place to put your money is under your mattress. :D :) |
