| 1354460 | 2013-09-30 01:30:00 | An alternative would be to use something like https://mega.co.nz for transmitting a file. What you'd do is save your message to a file, then upload it to MEGA. Once uploaded, you'll get a link like this: media1.mp3 (1.2 MB) mega.co.nz 04PY Or, you can split it up and just send them the link to the file: mega.co.nz And independently send them the Decryption key: H5HgWzhglsSIw1sECPmsMkOR8EFpgl885TJOySh04PY Try that, take the link and open it on your PC: mega.co.nz It'll fire up the website and prompt you for the Decryption key which you can then send to them independently using some other means... You could even take it and drop the first letter from it, send it to them via email and then text them from your phone and say "Add the letter 'H' to the start of the decryption key", and that'll work too. Alternatively, even simpler: You could both just share the same MEGA account and use that to upload / download files securely and just email each other and say "Hi I've uploaded you a message" and they will know to log in to mega.co.nz and download the file, no messing around with encryption / decryption that way :) |
