1354075 2013-09-23 06:16:00 What is the advantage of a big mouse pad when you are using a high DPI? ChazTheGeek (16619)
1354076 2013-09-23 07:02:00 It's personal preference, I don't like my mouse too sensitive as I find it harder to aim accurately. There's a personal trade off between speed and accuracy that's different for everyone.
So at the sensitivity settings I use I end up using about as much mouse pad as the small cheapies but I don't like getting close to the edges and I don't like having to pick the mouse up and recentre it if it wanders a bit off centre to the pad so I prefer larger pads.
Also in the heat of battle it's not too difficult to overdo it and move right off the edge of a small pad.

Also although I game on a single screen I use dual screen for everything else and bigger screen area = larger mouse movements.

1354078 2013-10-12 06:14:00 Ended up getting a Steel Series Qck mini. I'm very happy with it.
I couldn't make my mind up whether to get a Razer goliathus control or speed. There a mixed reveiws on the topic so I just went with the Qck.

1354079 2013-10-12 20:43:00 I use a medium sized razer goliathus (control edition). tracks well and has a nice fabric finnish. I use the control edition because I hate having mouse acceleration and combined with high dpi its somewhat necessary, unless you played alot of fps. Slankydudl (16687)
