2013-09-22 06:45:00 | Hi all, I have an ASUS GX950 optical mouse and my current gaming surface is not very good for precession head shots when in FPS games . I'd like something that provides my mouse a fast response and good accuracy . Not too fussy about comfort . Maybe you guys know of something I could use . Any recommendations? Thanks in advance . :)

2013-09-22 20:50:00 | I have a Steelseries QcK and a Razer Goliathus, and they're both very good. To me they feel like very similar construction and material, and I can't really tell the difference between them in use, except that the Goliathus I have is larger than the QcK I have. | inphinity (7274) | |
2013-09-22 22:25:00 | Ok thanks, is there any smaller mouse pads as I don't have much space on my keyboard pull out shelf. | ChazTheGeek (16619) | |
2013-09-22 22:52:00 | the QcK is available in a mini size, which is actually the one I have. It's somewhat smaller than A4 size (250mmx210mm). The Goliathus is available in a small size, too, but it is still slightly larger than the QcK mini at 270mmx215mm. I have the medium Goliathus Control (254mmx355mm) and small Goliathus Speed. All three appear to be the same thickness. The Control is a slightly rougher texture on the surface than the Speed or QcK, though not substantially imo. As above, I've not really been able to tell the difference. All are very good, and all offer significantly better tracking than either my desk surface, an A4 piece of paper taped to the desk, or an older wetsuit-and-cotton type mousepad I had sitting around. | inphinity (7274) | |

It is rectangular except the bottom edge is curved to clear your hand, It's just a little small for me. They even used to say you could throw it in the dishwasher but they've since decided maybe not the best Idea :) http://www.ratpadz.com/ I don't now how you can stand a pull out keyboard shelf, I hate them. I need some space around my keyboard and mouse to be comfortable and I don't like the height of those either. One thing that has consistantly gotten bigger over the years is my computer desk :) |
