207668 2004-01-15 08:53:00 Hi with my new PC i finally got it to get a bootdisk to run..

Now i dont own windows 95. But i do have a win98se upgrade disk.

Are there any switches that bypass the check for previous versions of windows??

Thanks

207669 2004-01-15 09:10:00 Nope.

It looks for previous versions installed files.

207671 2004-01-15 19:04:00 I believe that you can "upgrade" 98 from 3.11 or dos 6. If you have either of these on disk you can do the upgrade and it will ask you for the disks as you go rather than actually having to install them kerryg (4512)

207673 2004-01-17 04:06:00 Don't worry guys, i found a cd that had a win98 setup folder including all my drivers for a different comp

That version of windows was the pc without windows, and there was a license sticker on the case.

So everything is A O.k :D
