| 207483 | 2004-01-14 23:24:00 | Hey, Im running XP Pro on my laptop.... I have a wired connection downstairs between my pcs, one of which has a USB WLAN adapter attached. I sometimes plug my laptop into the hardwired network... but more often i run it over the wireless lan. As such i have set the laptop up to have two separate network connections... I simply disable one in Network places when i want to use the other. Is there a way in which i can make an icon which will do this for me just to save time and help out those members of my family which aren't so computer literate. Thanks... Ash |

| 207487 | 2004-01-15 01:10:00 | doesnt xp reconise which is the active network link, I know when my laptop is not on my network the network icon has a red x through it.
