| 207428 | 2004-01-14 20:19:00 | Using ME,800mhz PC Co machine.Wondered if Roxio's Goback Deluxe 3 is better than Sys Restore.Have made an Image(7 cd's) of my hard drive,but that's with an awful lot of stuff uninstalled and taken off to do it.Used Acronis True Image 7 and checked the images by loading them back onto the hard drive temporarily,but very slow job!Roll on the day I can get my new pc with an extra drive!Any comments please. | Neil McC (178) | ||
| 207429 | 2004-01-15 05:16:00 | Go back is good but takes a lot of resources and thrashes the HDD I use drive image and just do a backup prior to any add ons , if you have a large HDD divide them up and save your image there or onto a dvd like I do if you have a dvd burner . HDD are cheap these days and they are a lot faster than 7 cdrs . | kiwibeat (304) | ||
