| 207294 | 2004-01-14 02:03:00 | Hi, we just put a Geforce 4 mx 440 into a Gigabyte k7 triton ( GA-7n400E) which is only a month old with a AMD Duron 850 mhz and 256 mb ram. It worked fine last night and most of today untill now. He restarted his computer and then "Windows Protection Error" came up and said to restart, a annoying PC Speaker sound sounded. We resetted it and then it gets into windows fine but says "The display adapted is not configured properly etc.." His computer was running fine before we put the geforce in, it had a TNT2 in it. So we decided it must be the geforce, we put tnt2 back in and it still does the same error. Help! |
