| 207335 | 2004-01-14 08:01:00 | I am currently happily using MYIE2 as a browser and was wondering if anyone could suggest a good/system friendly download manager to use with it. I want to download openoffice.org but the file is around 70megs which is quite a large DL for my dialup connection. I don't want it to hang on 82% complete and disconnect or something... I was hoping to find a manager to help if there was any problems with the DL. I am running XP home.... Thanks. Mantis. |

| 207341 | 2004-01-14 20:39:00 | Star downloader!! Works fine, but they just changed it from freeware to shareware. When they do this, is it a sign of high demand for a good product and they want to cash in? When will this happen with Google? |

| 207342 | 2004-01-15 06:13:00 | I use MyGetRight and fine for my needs and free. I like to have the sound on and hear that strange voice at the end say "Your file is done". Misty |

| 207343 | 2004-01-15 23:10:00 | I use Net Pumper, there is a freeware version and it's a really good program. http://www.netpumper.com Also if you're looking for Openoffice... Ithink you should be able to get it on a PC World CD somewhere, that should save you the download? cheers chiefnz |
