| 207808 | 2004-01-15 23:27:00 | Hi folks. I am having a little problem with my internet connection, auto disconnecting. I went to properties/options and changed the "idle time before hanging up" from 20 mins to 24 hours. Now I have started downloading music I leave the computer going, downloading, but after 20 mins I get a warning, internet connection has been idle for 20 mins and will disconnect in 30 seconds. If I happen to be sitting in front of the computer I can click "stay connected" but if I am not it automatically disconnects. I rebooted after changing the"idle time before hanging up" but it still wants to disconnect after 20 mins. ISP is Paradise. What am I doing wrong that it wont accept the change from 20 mins to 24 hours. Thanks Smithie |
