| 208178 | 2004-01-18 00:43:00 | My son visited with Apple G4 Powerbook. ( druel ) We selected from his photos, he burnt them to a CD in .JPG extension, .JEPG file format. My PC errors it can't read the headers. It can list the photo names in Irfanview, and FreshView. They baulk at displaying the pictures. as files list as only Kb. PC can't download files to HDD under Windows Explorer. Win98SE, IE6, etc. Entirely possible he's burnt wrongly. | GSiv (3532) | ||

| 208180 | 2004-01-18 00:56:00 | The old wish again :D "I wish that M$ made some sort of Program that allows you to read Mac CD/ floppys" What you need to do is if you have a CD burner is to format a CD in the windows format (or a CD that you have all ready use on your win PC) then give it to your son so on his mac he can burn those images on to it then you will be able to read them :) Hope this helps |

You'll need to burn in ISO 9660, which allows for 8 character file names along with a 3 character file extension. This is a standard format (basically) that you can carry from platform to platform. You can also use MacOpener www.dataviz.com |
