| 208059 | 2004-01-17 09:13:00 | Help. My mother downloaded ZeroPopUp from this address www.resultsfinder.com It has reset her homepage to that address and although I have reset it, it returns to that address at every startup. I tried untickng the toolbar but it doesn't go away. Right clicking on it produces nothing useful. I tried redownloading it with DAP(downloader) but got an open browser request. Have looked in Program Files but can't recognise a file that might be it How do I get rid of this thing please. fern |

Martina was suggesting that the PressF1 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) has information that will also help you. You can access these PressF1 FAQ's by clicking on the FAQS button on the top right of the page. FAQ #8B deals with spyware and homepage hijackings. Note, the links to the FAQ's will take some time to load, but if you keep waiting they will turn up eventually. :) |

| 208066 | 2004-01-17 22:48:00 | You can grab Spybot Search & Destroy from here (www.safer-networking.org). It is free and make sure you check for updates regularly with the update function available within the program. Just ask here if you have any questions on how to use it. | Jen C (20) | ||
