208172 2004-01-18 00:57:00 No

One computer per OS license.

It won't load onto an LTS from a PC Co restore disk anyway due to hardware differences.

I'm surprised you needed to ask actually, as this is a regular theme here and always gets the same answer.

208174 2004-01-18 21:01:00 ME is terrible as a O/S I use 98SE myself though XP isnt too bad as well if you get all the right patches and a decent firewall email me if you need any more advice help on setups kiwibeat (304)
208175 2004-01-18 21:15:00 Just stick to 98SE, unless you've got a semi-decent computer then go with XP. You could probably pick up 98SE quite cheaply on trademe now anyways...

Dare I say it, but there's always linux...

208177 2004-01-20 05:40:00 Well I wouldnt upgrade either. Unless u clean install. This is when most ppl have problems. So, do an upgrade (from scratch or use a full version).

And I agree. WinME is/was the worse version out. Altho, it wouldnt work for me, as it wouldnt recognise 1GB (unless u tweak it a bit ).
