208665 2004-01-20 08:00:00 Hi, I have WinXP and have set up 4 logins for the family. To prevent the kids starting programs I don't want them to run, I have tried to install programs in my login only. This hasn't seemed to have worked. How can I delete some shortcuts on other desktops but not mine?
Thanks

208666 2004-01-20 08:14:00 Go C:\Documents and Settings\User name\Desktop
C:\Documents and Settings\User name\Start Menu\Programs
Just fill in the User name with whatever your users are.
You will have to have Admin privileges.

208669 2004-01-20 09:13:00 Also check C:\Documents and Settings\all users\Desktop
C:\Documents and Settings\all users\Start Menu\Programs
Don't substitute anything, just as they are.
