| 208503 | 2004-01-19 09:38:00 | I have a proxy program running on my computer called Naviscope, it handles all my internet requests etc. Recently, I've noticed that when I perform certain functions in Windows Explorer, such as deleting files, Naviscope handles a request to a site called Verisign. My question is this... Who or what is Verisign and more importantly is there anything I need to worry about as far as it being a security threat to my PC. PC's running fine no problems... just yet that is :) I've had a look at http://www.verisign.com and from what I gather Verisign has something to do with security certificates and certification etc Anyone have further info to this please. cheers chiefnz |
