| 209129 | 2004-01-21 22:40:00 | A few months ago I bought a New WD Caviar 80 Gig HDD, and I have installed Windows XP Pro on it and split it into 2 partitions, but recently it has been running scandisk on every start up, even after a proper shutdown. And also when I try to defrag one of my partitions, an error box pops up and says "Disk Defragmentor has detected that Chkdsk is scheduled to run on the volume D:, Please Run Chkdsk /f" Any Help would be really appreciated :) Thank you |

If you remove the chkdsk from the schedule agent (under system tools in the accessories menu) i think that will solve both your problems. hope this helps |
