| 209364 | 2004-01-22 19:44:00 | Hi. I have just upgraded my hard drive and gone to WIN2K as my operating system. Everything is fine except the modem, which for the life of me I cannot get to go. I am sure i have the right drivers but get the same "no drivers found" when i point the OS to the location of the drivers. The modem is a PCTel 56k V56 PCI . I have tried downloading generic drivers, moving PCI slots, uninstalling and reinstalling, gnashing my teeth and smoking another cigarette. Any other suggestions? |

| 209366 | 2004-01-22 22:26:00 | a V56 Modem? I have a PCTel V92 Modem, and the HSP Micromodem drivers would not work with it. Try searching www.driverguide.co.nz for the FCC ID, thats how I got the drivers for my modem. BTW, the directory you are pointing to has to have the .INF files in it. |
