| 209356 | 2004-01-22 16:39:00 | Is there any way to copy/save e-mails to cd? My usual way of handling them is saving them is by sending them to "local folders/saved" on OE 6. Realy important ones I cut and paste into word. No problems with this. But when I re-install XP I find that I lose all those in the "saved" folder. Ditto for "sent items" Jack |

| 209357 | 2004-01-22 18:06:00 | If you Open OE Click Tools -Options -Maintenance Click Browse next to the OE Store Folder ^This is where all your emails are stored, in .dbx files for each folder (inbox.dbx etc) The folder should be called Outlook Express, and you'll need to enable viewing of hidden files/folders to get to it :-) Back this up and you should be peachy! Cheers Chill. |

| 209359 | 2004-01-22 20:01:00 | Why not while your at it, search for *.wab and save your address book? I already do so. I was asking about the contents of e-mail, not the addresses. Jack |
