209137 2004-01-22 01:40:00 You can't bypass the win2k logon (as easily) like win 95/98/ME unless during setup you checked the box to, assume that the same user/administrator always logs on under this account, or words to that effect. You will need to set up users and logon passwords. If your not the admin you will need their cooperation unless, your adept at B&E.

209138 2004-01-22 03:21:00 Sorry been out for a while.
OK here's what happens, I boot the computer in gets into Windows but no icon or task bar appears, then a box with MSTask.exe Unable to locate Dll comes up and it tells me that
"The dynamic link library SHELL32.dll could not be found in the specified path
C:\WINNT\system32;.;C:\WINNT\System32;C:\WINNT\sys tem;C:\WINNT;C:\WINNT\system32;C:\WINNT;C:\WINNT\S ystem32\Wbem

I have looked on the CD for SHELL32.dll and nothing there. I have tried the recovery consol and the command CHKDSK /P and FIXBOOT but still nothing.

Has anyone got any ideas?
