| 209565 | 2004-01-27 08:45:00 | The Vodafone NZ network currently supports devices using WAP up to version 1.2. The 6600 is WAP 2.0 capable only. Customers with devices that are WAP 2.0 capable only and not backward capable with earlier WAP versions are unable to connect to the Vodafone NZ WAP gateway. To function correctly these devices require Vodafone to upgrade the WAP gateway to support the new 2.0 version. At this stage a network upgrade is scheduled for February'04 which will allow support of WAP 2.0. So you will have to wait for WAP and PXT to work. |
