210107 2004-01-26 23:42:00 If you look under C:\Windows\Fonts is there a TTF file called Pokeman or something similar? It may be abbreviated. parry (27)

Right. Did you try my suggestion of typing what you want in Word (in the required font, size, weight etc.) then copy and paste into Paintshop Pro?

So your saying when you looked in the Windows\Fonts folder the TTF file doesnt exist? My understanding is that Word obtains its list of fonts from the installed fonts in the OS. That font is not a standard font installed with Office or Windows that I can see. If there isnt a TTF file then that would suggest the text is within an embedded object rather than normal text you type.

Where did you obtain the font or Word document from & is this an object or typed text? Also, is this font available in a blank Word document or only in this particular document?

I think you may need to obtain the TTF to install so that you may use it with different applications.

Im not suprised that copying the text didnt work as the both the source and destination applications will need to recognise the font. This is not normally an issue as fonts are installed at OS level but even then not all applications may support it.

As another avenue you could check out PSP website and see if there is anything about installing fonts etc. I have PSP v7 so if you advise where you obtained the font then I will see if I can get it to work with PSP.

210112 2004-01-27 09:32:00 Try making a graphic with Word using that font (eg Wordart) and then copy the graphic to PSP - that way PSP shouldn't need to know what the font is...
