I have to reset my Google preferences daily every time I use Google, ie after each computer restart. My PC has Win XP Pro any ideas

When you change preferences the changes are saved in cookies so when you restart they are being deleted, so must have selected an option for this to happen. If you ave Ad-Aware it will also remove these preference cookies |

thanks for that, I regularly clean out the cookies, and obviously loose the google settings |

Depending on what browser you use, you can probably make cookie settings on a per-site basis |
