| 210483 | 2004-01-27 10:28:00 | Its called a "tilde" ~ Its a bug caused by a Windows update, that puts a backup copy of your Outlook Express Address Book on the desktop whenever the Address Book is added to or edited. Perhaps one day MS will correct it, but its been around a long time now. Its a backup only so can be deleted, but will return. |

| 210485 | 2004-01-28 08:20:00 | The tilde occurs when you open OE from a desktop icon after you have altered the address book. To stop it appearing, put an OE icon in Quicklaunch on the Task bar and open OE from there. I have not had it appear since I did that. |
