| 210237 | 2004-01-26 23:28:00 | Hi, I have recently installed a new v92 56k intel ham modem. I managed to install and got internet going, but I've been getting frequently disconnected and I was wondering if any one else has this problem with clear net? Perhaps is not the ISP's fault, since there's nothing on their website about the problem. Would any of you guys know what might be causing this frequent disconnection? ( at least once every seven minutes) |

| 210238 | 2004-01-27 01:01:00 | Is this a new connection to the Internet? Has the problem only occurred since the modem change/install ? You could try this:- go control panel , phone and modems,modems, properties, advanced, you'll see blank space, type in +MS=v34 ,ok If it doesn't work, just go back in and delete what you typed in. |
