| 210225 | 2004-01-26 22:36:00 | Hey everyone, I have a friend who's wondering how to remove some toolbars off Internet Explorer, which are Google, oochchhblly, and REALBAR. Google is the only one that is in the Add/Remove Programs, and even that doesn't work - clicking on 'Change/Remove' does nothing... any suggestions? the computer is Windows XP Home, using I.E 6 cheers, caffy |

Also HijackThis (216.180.233.153) can be downloaded and run. delete all references to the toolbars that are listed. DO NOT play/decide to remove other listings. This program lists ALL settings that can be hijacked whether good or bad. I take it that you have already installed and run Spybot Search and destroy (www.majorgeeks.com) ? |
