Just inside the front door there's a pallet of cardboard cartons, with a small sign on a post: "Dell computers $999" . I'd say it will be a great buy for anyone who goes out with the idea: "I'll buy a computer today" . It's only freaks and geeks who need to know anything about the internals . (And some of them would be better off bnot knowing) . :D |

LOL But going back to the original thread about the Dells, I am one who CAN'T build her own puter, and no inclination to, (I would rather go pull the car to bits when it needs a new clutch or box, ) the parts are bigger, and I dont' need glasses for the car . Seriously, for someone who is using a 500 athlon puter, read old, surely the Dell would be better . I am on limited budget, not into gaming, except yahoo or msn games, use Word etc, and do a little photo editing after I have been playing with digital camera, and burn cd's (doing backups from the music cds I have} At the moment I can't even access flybuys . co . nz as the flash they use, needs more ooph than this old puter has . Now after saying all that, the Dell would most likely do me for years? How bad is it having intergrated video cards etc? |

I also have a question along those lines, I have a 5 year old hp6320 333mhz with a nvidia tnt 2 64 I put in a year or two back. Will I be able to put the graphics card into the dell machine? I play the following games on my current machine so would therefore want to play the same ones on the dell. Would I even need the graphics card? Games are ms train sim ms flight sim 2000 sims ms combat flight sim israeli air force Cheers for the feedback |
