| 210724 | 2004-01-28 08:21:00 | Has anyone any idea why some of the game demos featured on the cover discs either refuse to run, or crash - on my machine? The smaller games work fine, but the larger - e.g. EA Rugby, Tony Hawk 4 and Unreal II don't like me for some reason. All other files and apps run well (and pleasingly I might add). I've got a feeling it may be my particular model (1 yr old PC Company) as the games have similar problems on my parent's (identical) machine. If anyone has any thoughts they would be greatly appreciated.\ Regards Intel 2.0GHz 256MB RAM Not sure on graphics card. XP Pro. |

Try running AIDA32 (www.aida32.hu) and see if that has any information on your graphics card, although Device Manager might tell you something. |

| 210726 | 2004-01-28 09:07:00 | First Thanks for Changing the Glue Guys I could open the CD in under 2 seconds. Re installing Empires (which looks really good) I get an I/0 error at 46% have tried this on 2 machines and also tried copying the Exe to Hdd but no go. Also Great Review on the Mini systems and the Fanless PC (I want one) Roben |
