210707 2004-01-29 00:54:00 Jen: that's just their standard disclaimer for reduced price goods. It dioesn't mean the goods are scrap. Usually, it's just the last of a line which they want to get rid of. It's unusual for there to be enough used/repaired guarantee returns/missing bits/broken units to be worth putting on the web site -- that stuff gets a sale sticker in the shop which has it.

They often have stuff listed at $0 or $0.01 ... I think that means that the franchise dealer can set a price. :D When something is listed at $2 it's more likely to be a DSE chain shop price. Then you just have to be quick. ;-)

It may not be very wise to include those on a CD because it is important to use only the latest versions at all times, particularly CWShredder and Hijack Blaster. SpywareGuard may be OK however.

210710 2004-01-29 04:30:00 All done. One happy chappy with a disc full of software and unrelated tech info.

Thanks people had a bit of a block there for a while, annoying especially considering I have most of it sitting on my PC somewhere or other.

Cheers Murray P

BTW. Did anyone manage to get the DSE disc bargain?
