210979 2004-01-29 07:53:00 Is it possible to download Woosh e-mail using MS Outlook and if so how? Bobh (5192)
210980 2004-01-29 08:07:00 It is just another ISP, so do it as you normally do.

210981 2004-01-29 08:26:00 Unless Woosh do an HTML based email service you need to use IE or other browser for.
Do they have a regular POP3/SMTP server?

210982 2004-01-29 08:52:00 I have used Outlook as opposed to Outlook express for several years.
Started with dial up 56K connection to Xtra.

I now have wireless broadband and still use Outlook.

Over the last 10 days I had to go to Wellington but used Webmail to check on Email and the computer I used did not run Outlook. The fact remains that I left all Emails on the server and downloaded those when I got home.

Woosh I haven't used but all you need to do is put the right server in to configure your Email.

210983 2004-01-30 11:12:00 Woosh is webmail, not POP, and is accessed from their website rodb (1561)
210984 2004-02-02 17:55:00 Woosh have advised me on the procedure as follows;

Hi there, to setup Woosh e-mail in outlook you must create a new mail account with your:
Woosh email address, Account name / Password, POP3 server: POP3.woosh.co.nz, SMTP server: SMTP@woosh.co.nz
This should be under Tools accounts / Tools Services - Add email account.

It works.

Very similar to most ISP settings but don't you mean smtp.woosh.co.nz?
