| 210679 | 2004-01-28 04:35:00 | Right-Click on My Computer Click Properties Click the Advanced tab over the right The next part is a little hazy, I havent run windows in a while and only Dual-boot at home, but have a look around, there should be three buttons you can click. One is related to startup and booting options Have a look in there and follow your nose :-) Hope this helps Chill. |

| 210680 | 2004-01-28 06:18:00 | Almost there Chill... > Right-Click on My Computer > Click Properties > Click the Advanced tab over the right then under Startup and Recovery (near the bottom) Click settings under System Startup click Edit This will bring up the Boot.ini file in Notepad where you can then edit the startup options ... in your case you will be removing one of the lines pertaining to your old boot xp-pro. When finished editing exit and save the boot.ini file, Click OK and OK again to exit from 'My Computer'. Next time you boot your pc, the changes would be (should be) apparent. Cheers, babe |
