| 1354809 | 2013-10-01 22:22:00 | Are you wanting a full backup of complete system image? Or are you wanting to just do images / documents? Are you wanting a 1:1 backup locally, to a network share, to a USB drive? Or do you want it off-site? |

| 1354810 | 2013-10-01 22:52:00 | Thanks for the suggestions. Windows backup works fine on 1 PC to the other but in normal Nanny MS style won't allow access to the drive on the other PC. Yea know about File Sharing options but am at the stage that am sick of the whole Windows OS! Ok rant over - tried Backupper - it froze. EaseUS Todo - in the process of trying to set that up. As said - just want to back up on the home network - eg My Docs. |

| 1354813 | 2013-10-02 00:27:00 | Why not just setup like a sync with Google Drive for your docs? For doing it on the network you could just write a batch script that's triggered nightly to do it for you? |

| 1354814 | 2013-10-02 00:36:00 | Well after a lot of drilling and blasting eventually got the 2nd PC to back up via Windows! It kept asking for login and PW - sigh - and after many tries came up with the right combination. Recall that when set up both these PCs a couple of years ago on the network it was a real MS battle. To be quite frank will be pleased when can just do everything in the iPad but setting Excel formulas is still best on the damn PC! | stuffed (1469) | ||
