| 1333701 | 2013-03-22 04:09:00 | Gee there seem to be lots of ISP's advertising bundles on tv lately. There look to be some good deals (on paper) Now that Telecom are going to sack a lot of staff will they be able to drop their line charges ? |

I know for the more in the know of us there are better ISP's, but for the masses Snap seems to be doing a good job. SO many people have signed with orcon though. That unlimited package, geeze! So many suckers just jump on there. It's hideously over subscribed. |

| 1333703 | 2013-03-22 08:55:00 | Telecoms staff levels don't have much to do with their ISP charges. They don't run or maintain their own network anyway it's all contracted out. Mostly what they do is own the network and send out the bills. Also xtra is just one part of the business. Good to see these adds though, over time bandwidth continues to slowly get cheaper. |

You have options now - you can dump Telecom and go to a provider that offers VOIP if you are concerned about paying for old copper wires. The quality of the level of service - customer or connection - received may vary (in either direction) of course, but then life is a risk! :) |

| 1333708 | 2013-03-24 18:30:00 | I hardly make any phone calls from my landline. But with 2 websites i think I need it. The only thing not being squeezed price wise is the landline which at $50 a month makes up a big chuck on a package. |
