1333220 2013-03-18 08:57:00 It is a big relief as the rain has been going quite strong for the last three hours :-). I hope it is not just us. notechyet (4479)

1333223 2013-03-18 21:35:00 We had steady light rain on Sunday in Invercargill. My weather station only recorded 4.5mm (better than nothing). The grass on my lawn has turned from brown to green. I will have to mow it within the next few days. The forecast is for light rain tomorrow then sunshine for a few days after that. Bobh (5192)
1333224 2013-03-18 21:50:00 Brilliant sunshine here in Whangarei. We had a few mils of rain on Sunday, but not enough to do any good. More on the way?? Richard (739)
1333225 2013-03-19 00:32:00 Light drizzle most of yesterday and through last night, just stopped about 11am, may start again here in Christchurch.

Yesterday we had some heavy downpours occasionally, some surface flooding in the garden for a few hours.

1333226 2013-03-19 02:08:00 Surface flooding? That's grim.
In the old days it was the only sort of flooding you'd see. ;)

1333227 2013-03-19 03:42:00 My neighbour measured 120mm over the last couple days. notechyet (4479)
1333228 2013-03-19 08:05:00 The toilet door will close again soon! The clay has shrunk so much that the doors in the house don't fit any more. Big gaps in the driveway joints. Hope it all comes right. mzee (3324)
1333229 2013-03-19 19:17:00 My neighbour measured 120mm over the last couple days.
I hope he's not done growing yet?
