| 1355328 | 2013-10-10 23:03:00 | PJ, I'm with Agent_24 and wainuitech, although "free" sounds nice, I personally wouldn't run anything except NOD32. It's one of the few things I'll gladly pay for. I run Comodo's Defense+ which is free, and I lock down everything except the whitelisted programs I have approved myself. I also do offline scans with bootable CDs, and scan within Linux (multi-boot). Finds nothing. Comodo's AV isn't the best though, I wouldn't recommend anyone use it standalone. But Defense+ is awesome. Though for most people a solution like that is too hard\too much trouble for them to use - and NOD32 is very good so I would recommend that instead for them. |
