| 1354674 | 2013-09-30 20:16:00 | Your ISP/mail provider doesn't do spam filtering? Between this & Outlook's junk filter, I can't recall having had any actual spam get through for years. Yahoo (xtra) do filter spam and stick it into the junk file ... well most of it anyway. It just seems to be a few spam emails I get regularly and I've tried blocking them by several means with no luck. Mailwasher has caught them and I've blacklisted them ... now I'll wait and see if any more get through. WT ... mailwasher caught an email from my address ... do you know whether I should block that ? Not very often I send emails to myself ... like never !! |

If its a mail you trust (including your own) ;) you can right click the mail and theres several options to "mark " it as. This is the beauty of Mailwasher, its NOT automated in its actions so its upto the user to decide what can be safe. Some automatic filters do tend to pick up legit mails as spam. Lots of the known ones are listed in their data base, or something is triggering mails as Spam. As Billy T pointed out you can read the main mail in the preview and decide if to allow it through or not. |
