I had a brief stint working in a gas station, when you ask people to stop smoking on the forecourt they act like you demanded they sacrifice their first born child on the spot. I've seen one blonde woman living up to the stereotype by smoking while pumping gas and chatting to her friend and not paying attention to what she's doing. Pump in one hand, cigarette in the other. It seems the habit is more important than your life and the lives of those around you. It's unfortunate what happened to this man, and even more unfortunate that others like him will learn nothing from it. |

Damn, you're right. Let me correct my earlier post. Regardless of whatever facts, the guy was a victim, and The Man is to blame. Doctors are also to blame for this guy being sick and needing their evil oxygen machine in the first place. And again it's The Man who is to blame for this guy being so stupid that he ignores advice and smokes beside it. And The Man is to blame for forcing cigarettes into his mouth until he was hopelessly addicted. |
