| 1332818 | 2013-03-17 20:59:00 | tivo remote is excellent, especially in someone else's house Yeah I had the most fun ever screwing with my brother-in-law who was being a bit of a ratbag that day (He's 16...) So after we finish off dinner, he goes off in a huff and lies down on the sofa and starts watching TV. I get up to help the mother-in-law with dishes when I realized I had a fantastic moment of opportunity. Just fired up the app, and began hitting the "Pause" button. He was in the living room confused as hell, then starts cursing and swearing at it after it carries on doing it for a few minutes... And if you hit the "Live TV" button it changes between the tuners it's using, so it flicks back and forth between channels on him. I was having a *blast* but my wife can't keep a straight face and she starts cracking up laughing. Then, the penny drops... Poor kid, but it was so much fun :p As we were leaving I hit the Record button, followed by the enter key (The middle circle button) a couple of times too, so I figure they've probably got a few extra recordings happening. Should figure out how to do a Season pass without looking at the TV, so next time I can queue them up a few seasons of whatever happens to be on at the time! :devil |
