1333416 2013-03-20 07:05:00 The bigger question is why even bother to take it?

I wouldn't even use that rag as a rea towel.

1333418 2013-03-20 07:14:00 I get annoyed with all this "alleged theft" rubbish. Reporters too scared to state the obvious. The only thing that isn't clear is the Identity of the thief, the fact that it was stolen is pretty well established and not at all "alleged" but we're not allowed to say that until a court rules it to be true. Heaven forbid someone reports it as stolen and it turns out the owner needed a towel.

When a crime has been committed it is not "alleged" only the guilt or innocence of any suspected/accused parties is in doubt. Occasionally it's not certain a crime has actually been committed, then you can call it "alleged"

Pretty blatant though if she is the culprit.

1333420 2013-03-20 07:23:00 It may have been a targeted theft, in other words some wealthy local paid her big bucks to make off with it so they could exhibit this prized article in a feature wall.

Or hang over the oven handle in the kitchen.
