1332855 2013-03-15 20:44:00 Saw this on Qi last week...

If a cat is dropped upside down, it always lands on its feet.

If a piece of buttered toast is dropped, it always lands butter side down.

If you tied a piece of buttered toast (butter up) on a cats back, what would happen if you dropped the pair?

(a) Would the cat land on its feet?

(b) Would the buttered toast land butter side down?
or
(c) would the combination just hover in mid air, rotating, unable to fall because a and b could not happen?

Your thoughts please!!

Ken :p

1332857 2013-03-15 21:05:00 It depends what side went down first. The thing on top wins. pcuser42 (130)

1332860 2013-03-15 22:17:00 Depends on how fast Gareth Morgan is spinning the cat by the tail ... :D SP8's (9836)
1332861 2013-03-15 22:24:00 Seriously - As the cat is alive and has control of the situation - the cat obvisouly.

Not Seriously - Just like turtles - the only weakness is if they're on their back their done for but if you tie two turtles back to back they'll be unstoppable! World Domination here I come!

1332863 2013-03-15 23:22:00 I think Gareth Morgan should be personally responsible to attaching as many slices of toast to as many cats as he can find. WalOne (4202)

Our cat then proceded to eat the toast. :)
