| 211713 | 2004-01-31 06:11:00 | Previously when I have run either of these via Start/Run the details have displayed and stayed in window on screen -- for some reason now when I try it to test machines on network are communicating correctly the results don't display and the command prompt window instantly disappers from screen? What is going on??!! |

| 211714 | 2004-01-31 06:22:00 | Windows 9x/Me: Navigate to C:\Windows\ Right Click on Command.com > Properties Program (tab) Take the tick out of Close on Exit Else you can run 'command' from the Run line and then just type "ping machine" in there. CyberChuck |

| 211715 | 2004-01-31 06:45:00 | even if you untick close on exit for command.com its just for command.com not ping.exe or whatever so you'd have to goto ping.exe and untick it | MrBeef (342) | ||
| 211716 | 2004-01-31 07:21:00 | When yo go to the START>run. enter "command.com" and then you get the DOs window. IPCONFIG and PING work normally there. | piva (3796) | ||
