211665 2004-01-31 00:34:00 I've been using Pinnacle Studio 8. I find it too basic and want to move on to an application that can do more. Is Pinnacle Liquid the one or do you have suggestions of a programme that allows for more editing, cool transitions etc. I have a digital pen too. I want to import speech bubbles, clipart, do much more with titles (entering and leaving in various different ways and speeds). Thanks for taking the time to read this message. TE4CHR (3498)
211666 2004-01-31 00:57:00 Finding pinnacle 8 to limiting is a good sign...You should fiind moving on to a better product very satisfing.

I found ulead media studio the perfect step up,and while i cant garentee it does all you need(ive never had the desire to import speech bubbles) it is a massive step up from pinnicle and has a huge amout of featyres.Plus its very simple to get up to speed on,adding titles, trasistions, more audio tracks and what not are very intuitive.

Some will say adobe premiere is the better choice,my view is unless you have access to training then you can look foward to producing utter rubbish for a long time. That is if you can even figure out how to make it do what you want let alone output a file.

Demo's are available for all ulead products.

211667 2004-01-31 03:03:00 I use a Video Editing product from "Puremotion" This is an excellent editing software package ( I am a beginner and find it excellent with many advanced settings). I actually purchased mine at http://dvdlab.net" target="_blank">puremotion.com called "Editstudio". This is an excellent editing software package ( I am a beginner and find it excellent with many advanced settings). I actually purchased mine at http: as I use there Authoring package called "DVDLab" and they sell the two packages plus MPEG XS (codec to use with Editstudio). I think it is actually cheaper this way.
