| 211240 | 2004-01-30 06:06:00 | I've used Opera now for about 4 months, and I've certainly experienced an increase in speed over IE and Netscape. Opera is user friendly and with some great features the others don't have. I keep IE for those sites (usually spawned by M$) that will only accept IE, but others (e.g. ASB Bank) accept Opera if you tell it to present itself as IE. Otherwise, no problems at all. B-) |

It has some underlying javascript issues, where if you click on a java link and its supposed to open up in a half size window, it doesn't happen. Also stuff like hushmail and ANZ online banking don't work, due to nothing opening up in a miniature window pane, like its supposed to. I'm pretty sure I've downloaded some windows updates with opera too. |

| 211244 | 2004-01-30 09:37:00 | Opera seems to work on everything except those sites which are crafted in dhtml in a way which accepts IE only. Fine on downloads with a builtin DL manager. Main point is to be able to surf in text mode with images one toolbar click away. Go for it. | TonyF (246) | ||
